Following its world premiere at Suntory Hall, Tokyo, A Plum’s Haiku receives its UK premiere in a solo piano performance by Steinway Artist Yuko Sano. The work won the inaugural Oxford–Japan Prize for Composition and reflects Jacques Allen’s engagement with poetic structure and cross-cultural dialogue. This performance offers UK audiences the first opportunity to hear a piece that has already garnered international recognition.
